PS I Love You Review

[Stage Whispers, October 2004]

This original play by Sally McLean was about Australians at home in Melbourne during World War 2, and how events changed and shaped lives during that period of time.

Ten actors gave their individual stories from the perspective of those in the allied forces, military, the home front, or from Japanese war camps.

Well written and researched, Sally also directed and performed in the production which included new and more experienced actors giving a nice balance to the play.

Actors were Debra Byrne, Jane Forsyth, Lorna Lowe, Alesha Bellairs, Frank Maloney, Harry Paternoster, Kedar Paudel, Kathleen Ronchi, Jodie Spencer and Alan Fletcher.

The play was performed at Mt Martha House, once again an ideal venue for asmall cast in an intimate setting.
